I passed both of my quals! What a fricking relief. After three straigh failures I take two quals at once for the first time and pass both. Even better is that all of my friends passed as well. Eric Waggoner passed the same ones I did and thus has passed 4 quals! Steve and Baris passed Algebra and Burak passed Numerical. We're looking to have a celebratory dinner at Mongolian BBQ this Saturday. Should be yummy.
This is a huge weight off my shoulders. Now I'm on to the next challenge...finding an advisor and getting ready for a comprehensive exam.
