Well it's been some time since I've posted on the old Diaryland. It doesn't happen much anymore since I've joined the Toyah team (where, as it is, I don't post all too often there either).
I've been a pretty busy boy this semester, even though I'm taking my normal two classes. It's tough stuff. I'm scraping by though.
This weekend was great. I got home to Muskegon and played in a family cribbage tournament on Saturday at the Knights of Columbus. Mother and I won three out of eight games, finishing a meager 11th. I got to see a ton of distant cousins, play cards and pool, and eat Mr. Scribb's pizza. It was very relaxing.
The best new show is My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss. I can't think of anything I enjoy saying more than "Get the hell out of my office." Maybe I should try that on my students.
The election came and went and I was pretty pleased with the results. If East Lansing residents had red skin, I would have sworn I was on the Trail of Tears this Wednesday. Michael Moore is bitching and moaning all over the place on his website. He should be happy that he can make movies for the next four years and make a ton of money off of people who like to hear their own message repeated, no matter how false or misleading it may be.
Most hilarious guy on TV has to be John Mangopoulos, who has extremely conservative views and a show on local TV here in Lansing. Do a search on him and see how much people like him. His show is a riot, as he pulls absolutely no punches on public schools, homosexuality, and other liberal strongholds. It's probably the only time I've heard the word "fag" in the last five years on television. He's quite extreme, but it's nice to hear someone on public TV that isn't tooting the NPR bugle.
