One thing that stinks about this evening teaching is that I'm a "work first, play later" kind of guy. I don't feel like really doing anything until I do my job for the day. It was true at the city when I was on second shift, and it's true now. I find myself sleeping in and not getting out of the house. While I do get some things accomplished, I don't leave with that feeling. Then by the time I'm back into town, it's after 10PM. At least the Tigers are in Oakland and Seattle this week, so I'll have something interesting for after hours. Also have to write the Weekly tonight. That's always a fun chore.
I guess the one job that I had where I didn't work first was my student monitor position at Hillsdale. And that's because I never worked a minute while I was there! It was all gravy on that job. Thank you, safe campus.
Song Currently On WinAmp: "Funkytown" by Lipps Inc. Say it quickly. My first recollection of this song was on the previews for Dumb & Dumber. I always forget how funny that movie is until I see it again, and I am rolling.
