---Good Two Days---

2003-11-25 - 11:13 p.m.

It's the week of Thanksgiving and everything's going my way. Well, a few things have gone my way, and right now I'm feeling pretty spectacular. I have just one commitment tomorrow, and I think I shall do a little bowling after that is over. The drive home could be tough...except that I'll be leaving in the early afternoon.

Monday started out with classes. I got my analysis test back. I was hoping for a 70 and I nabbed myself a 79. I thought it was fantastic. If you had told me two years ago that I'd be happy with a 79 I might have reconsidered grad school. It would have sounded to me like years of Dr. Discenza. My bowling went pretty well. The series was 136-191-141 for a 468. Not bad, but in that middle game I went open in the tenth frame, AND I got beer framed! Luckily there was a ten dollar prize for most pins over average per team and we had decided to do for one game instead of series, so eight of those bucks went to buying the next pitcher. I blew my chance at my first 200 of the season, but the team took five points and I won a buck from Kathy Owens. Then I got invited to the Owens' for Thanksgiving! Geesh, I've known these people for like ten days (more like ten weeks, but I only see them once a week). Maybe they are trying to set me up with their daughter. Very nice people, though.

Today I had a tough time with studying numerical. I was getting frustrated, but I hadn't prepared enough. I went to see the doctor and he informed me that all my ligaments were A-OK and offered some suggestions as to why I'm experiencing pain. Watched Better Off Dead with Lia tonight. I love that flick. Also, I got an e-mail from someone that restored my faith in the power of prayer. If you have something to pray for, then persist. If the cause is noble, then your prayers will make a difference.

Song Currently on WinAmp: Well, I have a CD playing right now, so this will have to suffice. The song is "Lies" by The Thompson Twins. I saw a clip of this video on a commercial and thought that I'd hate the song, but it's pretty catchy. It's on the Time-Life Sounds of the Eighties 1980-1983 CD, which is a pretty spectacular disc. Other cool track from this collection are "Games People Play" by The Alan Parsons Project and "Get Down on It" by Kool and the Gang.
