So after a week of missing, I was back at bowling league. My theory held true tonight. I have this idea that there i an inverse relationship between how excited I am for bowling and how well I actually do. Now, I guess I didn't bowl poorly (139, 135, 165... another 438 series), but my team lost all seven points and Kathy Owens beat me in the first two games. Luckily, KO opened in the tenth frame of the last game, and I was able to salvage some of my pride. Afterwards, I stayed and bowled a couple of games and got some tips from real bowlers.
The day started off tough, as I was running on roughly 4 hours of sleep. Not too amazing, but less than I'm used to these days. My students have an exam tomorrow. I think they COULD do well, but whether they will is seriously in doubt. Some of these students are really feeling the burn and are exherting no effort towards the class. Sounds like someone I know. Dinner at the Riv was cheap and good. The Steelers are getting worked by the 49ers right now. =-(
I can think of nothing worth writing about right now. Better turn in for the night so I'll be fresh to study tomorrow.
Song Currently on WinAmp: "Pink Cadillac" by Bruce Springsteen. Well, not anymore, but it was on. It's a good cruising tune, but Bruce's voice can get pretty annoying toward the end of the song.
