Subterranean By Design... ---Biker Dude--- 2004-06-24 - 10:11 a.m. So Uncle Mike "Bunny" Ribecky dropped off my bike on Monday, as he was taking his son to an MSU football camp. Jason told me that he was going to be on the Colts this year. I wanted to start telling him about the awesome power of Albert Bentley and the sad defense of the team, but I had other things to accomplish. The last three days I've used the bike consistently. It's about a twenty minute ride for me from Melrose to Wells Hall. The ride is nice, especially since I can take the Northern Tier bike trail and avoid a good chunk of Abbott Street. The bike gets me around, but it certainly has some flaws. First of all, the rear brake isn't functioning, so my bike is "front wheel stop." Also, the gear that I use the most has a distinct clicking noise when I go down with the right pedal. Oh yeah, and there is some rubbing going on somewhere that's causing some minor drag. Not enough to really slow me down, but I really notice it when I am walking the bike. I should probably take the thing in to get these little things fixed before they become big things. Started studying again with Ahmet. A little over two months and the exam will be upon us. It's going to take some sweet study action to pull this one off. Of course, I have complete faith that Ahmet is going to pass. He's two for two and going for the trifecta. If I pass then I'll be two for two and will be pretty proud of myself. That's a big if though, and I have plenty of work to do. I look forward to the days when all exams are passed and all coursework is completed. Then I can focus on research and finishing up the degree. Someday... Click here for a brief monologue regarding the importance of good butter. I agree that bad butter or butter substitute can ruin a dish. Song Currently on WinAmp: Wild Wild West by the Escape Club. I still crack a smile everytime I hear the line "Headed for the 90's, living in the 80's..." I'd love to transport back to the 80's and see what it would be like to live then as old as I am now. I'm sure that I have overly romanticized the decade, so maybe it's best that my utopia 80's remains intact.
